How the calculation works
Rectangles use length × width × thickness. Circles use π × radius² × thickness. Convert cubic feet to cubic yards by dividing by 27.
Simple example
A 10 × 10 ft slab at 4 in thick needs about 33.3 cubic ft or 1.23 cubic yd before waste.
Common question
Should I order exactly this amount?
Usually allow for uneven ground and spillage and confirm the order size with the supplier.
